Learning languages

In collaboration with the Extension Department at UNTREF, we offer intensive and regular language courses and workshops for specific purposes for adults, university students and the general public.

Our regular language programmes are organised in four cycles, each of which consists of a number of four-month courses, varying according to the language in question.

In the case of foreign language courses a certificate is awarded by UNTREF LINGUA indicating equivalence with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), once each cycle has been successfully completed.

LINGUA Club is a relaxed space for socialising and engaging in informal conversation while practising foreign languages. 

Our academic and professional purposes workshops are distance learning courses designed to deepen the development of specific skills such as Academic Writing, Academic Reading and Academic Presentations in English or French.
